Craft Ideas

Does anyone know of some good Daycare craft ideas and indoor activities?
I work at a daycare in an elementary school. On Fridays we just have 20 or so kids ranging in age from 5 to 11. It is so difficult to find crafts or activities that the Kinders can do and that the upper grades enjoy, especially the boys. Does anyone have any ideas? I love would love to come in and WOW them with a super fun craft or indoor game this Friday. Thanks all!
Here is an indoor or outdoor game that is fun: It’s called ‘Have You Seen My Cat Lately’
How you play:
Everyone sits in a circle. (They have to sit on their bottoms and not on their knees, which would be cheating.)
One person (I’ll call them ‘person one’) walks around the outside of the circle and asks: “Have you seen my cat lately?”
Everyone else replies: “No, what does it look like?”
Then person one starts describing a person in the circle. (Like: “It has a blue shirt, long hair, purple shoes, is a girl” etc.)
Once the person being described knows it’s them (person two) they get up from their spot in the circle and chase person one. (Always walk/run it the same direction around the circle.)
Person one will then run around the circle and try to get to person two’s seat and sit there.
If person one gets tagged by person two, then person one will sit out the next round (or be out of the game, or sit out three rounds, that part is up to you). (Have them sit in the center of the circle.)
Then person two gets to walk around the circle describing the next ‘cat.’
If person one gets back to the seat without being tagged then they are not out and are still in the next round and person two gets to walk around the circle describing the next ‘cat.’
This game can go on as long as you want. It is kind-of a variation of duck, duck, goose. I learned it during a summer day-camp. There were kids from the age of 5(ish) to 13(ish) I don’t quite remember the age range, that’s just my guess.
Also Charades is always a fun game. Have a little kid pair up with an older kid and have the two do something together.
I don’t know what this is called, but I played it once in third grade:
Split them up into teams of two (or more if you’d like.)
Have the team’s make something out of colored construction paper, but make sure no-one but that team knows what it is.
Then everyone closes their eyes while each team takes turns hiding their picture in plain sight.
So let’s say team one made a bumble bee and you had a black and yellow poster, then they’d tape it to that so it blends in.
Once everyone has ‘hid’ their pictures everyone tries to find the pictures around the room.
Everyone can either try to find them together as a class, or you could say which ever team finds the most pictures wins.
Bingo is also fun. Here’s a couple websites for some: http://www.dltk-cards.com/bingo/ or http://www.teach-nology.com/web_tools/materials/bingo/
Here are some craft websites too:

You can also get old magazines and have them cut out pictures for a collage. (If they are too little to use scissors have an older kid help them.)
I hope this helped. Enjoy!

PS – I’m fourteen. My mom is an elementary school teacher. I’ve done a lot of babysitting and I’ve helped out in a class room before.
